What is included in the participants registration fees?

Each individual registration provides entry into the IPBA Conference sessions, Welcome Reception, Gala Dinner and Farewell Dinner.

 

Is it possible to make payment via wire transfer? 

At the moment we encourage using the online payment system to ensure a smooth registration process. Should there be an outstanding reason for being unable to use the online system, please let us know and we can arrange for an alternative method. 

 

What are the admin costs to be aware of? 

Please note that payment is accepted in AED currency. We have listed the USD price for reference. As such, the admin costs are : 3-3.5% if foreign currency ; approx. 2% with AED payment (1.9% + 1AED). Should any refund be required, these costs would be taken out from any refunded amount as they are non-refundable. 

 

Some common errors in registration can be due to: 

 

  1. Email - Only one email can be used per registrant 

  2. IPBA Membership number - Only one unique IPBA Membership number can be used per person

  3. Needing to clear your cache - if you experience an error message indicating that the person you are trying to register already exists, please clear your cache and try again

 

PAYMENT

 

What payment cards are accepted? 

The cards accepted for payment are Visa and Mastercard. Our payment system does not accept American Express.  


 

REFUND POLICY

 

Cancellation policy with IPBA

Please note the following Cancellation Policy with regards to your IPBA2023 ticket purchase:

 

  • 100% refund (less admin charges) if cancellation from registration until 31st October 2022. 

  • 50% refund (less admin charges) if cancellation from 1st November 2022 to 25th February 2023. 

  • Zero refund if cancellation from 26th February 2023 until Conference. 

 

 

Additional: Should you wish to transfer your ticket to another delegate, please contact us stating your intention to do so, your reasoning and the other delegate's details. This decision will be done at the sole discretion of the Organizing Committee; the organisers will use their best endeavours to work with you to execute the transfer, where possible. 

 

ACCOMODATION 

 

Please note that hotel accommodation is a separate fee that you can book directly with your hotel of choice. We have facilitated a special IPBA Dubai 2023 offer with the conference venue, the JW Marriott, which you can access here should you wish to avail it.

 

What is the cancellation policy with the venue?

With regards to the hotel booking, this is done directly with the venue - JW Marriott, not through us. 

 

What other hotels are recommended for booking into if we do not want to avail the JW Marriott offer? 

We would recommend the JW Marriott as we have managed to secure special rates for the duration of the conference and it is the main event venue. We do not have any other specific hotels we would recommend, however, we can suggest you could check the areas of Business Bay, Downtown and Habtoor City in Dubai. All of these areas would not be more than 10 mins or so for you to get to the conference venue. Beach resorts include Jumeirah Beach, The Palm Jumeirah and are approximately 15-20 minutes from the conference venue.
